Now, it might surprise you to know that watching the ball drop down under is a big deal, but it is indeed. Sydney, Australia is actually a very exciting place to spend New Years Eve.
In fact, it is considered the very first city in the entire world to ring in the New Year. It is thus no wonder that they do it in such a big way. Their dazzling display of fireworks is thought to be the biggest one in the whole world and it does not end until a quarter after midnight.
The party does not stop there, though. You can find various big time celebrations rocking out until dawn, at least.
And the best vantage point for those fireworks? Well, anywhere on the Sydney Harbour Bridge will do, but your best bet is to be in a boat right in the harbor.

So private jets and planes are super nice but for those of us that can not afford those … there is something that you can do to ensure that you do fly in the lap of luxury and that is simply upgrading your seat to first class. I can tell you that flying first class is definitely the way to go if you have a really long trip.
This little picture here? Well, that is just one plane that has went above and beyond for their passengers in first class. They offer up TV, meals, liquor – everything that you need to get through the flight, especially if it is a longer flight overseas.
First class is not usually all that expensive to upgrade either. $50.00 most of the time and that really makes it affordable for everyone!

Now that we have touched on flying in style in a private jet, I can tell you for sure that not everyone can afford that. However … did you know that there are actual private planes that you can rent? These are pretty inexpensive … depending on where you go and they are absolutely beautiful inside.
This is just a sneak peek of how Versace flies in style and how the inside of the Versace plane looks. This is a plane that not only flies awesome in any weather but the inside is absolutely comfortable and stylish … which is awesome!
In the next blog, we are going to touch on first class and how you can find the best deal ever on first class seats!

The internet has made it easier than ever to book tickets. There are several big name sites out there that can seriously help you find the best travel deals — and that is a good thing, because where any type of travel is concerned, you have got to shop around. This is especially true of holiday travel. Comparison shop at as many places as you can, and you increase your chances of getting a good deal.
Believe it or not, knowing the airports in the areas you will be departing and arriving can help save money as well. Say you live in upstate or central New York: it might be cheaper to fly out of Syracuse than Albany, Rochester, or Buffalo. You might have to travel a little farther, but money saved and the availability of fares could be well worth the extra effort.

Now, while this might be difficult with the holiday season coming up, you need to try to avoid traveling during peak dates. For instance, Christmas this year falls on a Friday. Traveling on that day itself can be a lot cheaper than traveling on Christmas Eve.
If that simply cannot be done, then just try to book your flight — or train reservations — as early as you can. The closer you get to any given holiday, the more expensive the fares are going to be, naturally — both to and from your destination. Locking your tickets in early is the only way to ensure a good deal.
At this date, it may still be early enough to get a good deal for late December — if you are very, very lucky — no matter which holiday you will be celebrating.

All right, my horror loving friends and Halloween fanatic neighbors, I have most definitely saved the best for last. Salem, Massachusetts. Other towns may claim to be Halloween capitals, but I truly believe that Salem takes the cake.
For one thing, their Halloween inspired activities take place from October 2 to November 2, so you have a full month to enjoy this town, which is still quite haunted by the trials and events of the sixteen hundreds. The Haunted Happenings Festival manages to be both educational, scary, and incredibly fun — not to mention eerie!
There are psychic readings, parades, picking pumpkins, spooky stories, reenactments of the famed rich trials, and much, much more, such as the many museums and showcases in the town.
